The piadina

The piadina is a typical dish of the Romagna tradition, it is often accompanied by cold cuts and fresh cheeses. Obviously, the real piadina is possible to eat it in Emilia Romagna, but in this article we will try to make it together, in order to be able to enjoy it at home. Just a few ingredients and you can bring to the table a piadina made by you. But be careful, the recipe that we propose does not include lard, or animal fat, which will be replaced with olive oil. This will allow us to make the wraps lighter, but above all it will be possible to make them with the ingredients in the pantry. Enjoy your meal.

Let's prepare the piadina together. With the doses indicated in this recipe, you will get 6 wraps.

To prepare 6 wraps: 300 gr of flour 00 - 150 ml of water.

Also 30 g of olive oil - 5 g of fine salt.

Preparation for piadina
In a bowl mix all the ingredients, until you get a soft dough. Divide the dough into 6 balls and let them rest for about 20 minutes covered by plastic wrap. Then roll out the wraps with the help of a rolling pin and cook the dough on a non-stick pot until small bubbles form. Turn the piadina and repeat on the other side.
