Take fresh basil leaves, 70 g
Wash each leaf and dry well.
The real basil pesto involves the use of a clove of garlic
But it is possible not to put it. Pesto will be easier to digest.
If you don't have a mortar at home, use the blender
Put the basil leaves and garlic cloves inside the blender.
Take the pine nuts, 30 g
Blend or crush the pine nuts together with the basil.
Add plenty of Parmesan, 50 g
The Parmesan cheese will have to blend with the rest of the ingredients.
Add extra virgin olive oil 70 g
EVO oil will give the pesto the right creaminess.
A little secret? Two ice cubes!
It will help the pesto to remain a bright green.

Two / three grains of coarse salt, blended together with the rest.
